Eric Kripke : "When we started casting, we had archetypes in mind, which were Han Solo and Luke Skywalker. We were really looking for Sam to be empathetic, kind, and likeable, and really the audience surrogate. The person who the audience would most see themselves as and really carry the story through their eyes. And that required a really unique likeability. For Dean, we were looking for Han Solo. We were looking for devil-may-care, charismatic, a little rough around the edges, a little edgy, says things that are not always the kindest thing, as long as they're funny. And that was really what we started out with."

Recap Season 8 Premier Pt 3 : We need to talk about Kevin

Search for Kevin begins!

Sam and Dean track Kevin down to Fairfield , Iowa

Kevin: "What the hell happened to you guys?"

Dean: "The Cliff Notes? I went to Purgatory. Sam hit a dog."

Sam: "God taught you how to trap demons." Kevin: "Technically yeah."

They found Kevin. He's not the old Kevin we know from S7. I love new Kevin.

Who could forget King of Hell with the goats ! Ha ha Kevin You're little smart cookie.

Sam: "God taught you how to trap demons."
Kevin: "Technically yeah."
Dean: "Were you able to read anything else off the tablet before you stashed it?"
Kevin: "Only the stuff about closing the gates of hell. Forever."
Dean: "Come again?"
Kevin: "Banish all demons off the face of the earth. Lock them away forever. That could be important right?' Dean: "closing the gates of hell forever? Yeah, yeah…that could be important."

Dean is very impressed new Kevin !

Kevin " You know I'm not gay ,right ?"

Sam gives advise for Kevin about become accidental hunter which he's never dreamt of . But it'll be his life from now on ! Which remind us about Sam who's never want to be the hunter at all. But will get easier to adjudge in time Sam told!
